Once a Tripgrid workspace configures document templates, users can leverage them to generate standardized document outputs.
Creating Document from a Template
First, navigate to the desired grid. Find the "Document Builder" tile on the grid view page in the right sidebar. Click the "Create Document" button and select the desired template.
Opening the document builder tile expanded view mode will allow you to manage a grid's documents. Click the "Add Document" button, or if documents already exist in the Documents table, click the "Build Document" button.
Enter a name for the new document and click "Create Document" to launch the Document Builder editor.
Creating Document from a Suggested Template
Tripgrid provides a few pre-generated templates that can be used to quickly create a new document from the document builder tile's expanded mode. Click the desired template to create a new document and launch the Document Builder editor.
Duplicating Documents
To create a copy of a document, click the checkbox on the left side of the row for the documents you would like to duplicate. Then click the duplication button in the table's top right menu.
Confirm the action by clicking "Duplicate". The copies of the documents should appear in the table.
Deleting Documents
To remove a document, click the checkbox on the left side of the row for the documents you want to delete. Then click the delete button in the table's top right menu.
Confirm the action by clicking "Delete It". The deleted documents should disappear from the table.
