Booking Reservations Linked to Workflow

Tripgrid has two distinct products: Flight Booking and Workflow.

Tripgrid Workflow was built to provide a platform for users to organize their travel data and build travel documentation. You can read more about what Workflow does in the following help articles:

If you utilize both the Flight Booking product and Workflow, you can easily connect projects within both platforms.

Sending Flight Reservations to your Workflow Grid.

  • First, create a 'Grid' inside your Workflow account. At this point, the Grid does not have to have any flight booking content.

  • Next, enter a 'Project' into your Booking account and select your travelers.

  • Then click on the 'Link Workflow Grid' button at the top right of your Project.

  • You will see a list of your active Grids inside your workflow account. Select the appropriate Grid to send your reservations to. Keep in mind that you cannot select more than one Grid.

  • A message appears at the bottom indicating you have linked your Project with your Grid.

  • Once it's finished, you can begin searching for flights for your travelers and complete the booking process.

  • Once booked, your flights will be in a 'Booked-Pending' status per the normal process while awaiting 'ticketing,' which can take several minutes.

  • Once ticketed, your flight status will update in your booking project, and flight reservations will automatically be created in your grid under the travel section.

  • You'll need to 'Add' Travelers to your project, as the inserted reservations will not do this automatically. You can add travelers by clicking Add Travelers under the Travelers section, finding the appropriate contact, and adding them to the Grid, or you can type in the name and hit enter on your keyboard to create.

Canceling Flight Bookings

If you need to cancel any flights, you can do this within the Booking application. They will be removed from your Grid automatically. This can take up to 15 minutes, but it will occur.
