Sections Below:

Starting a Project

Following sign-in, you will be sent to your "projects" page, or you will be asked to create your first project (if you are a new user with no projects). Once on the projects page, you can either search, sort, or scroll to find an existing project, or you can click 'New Project' to create a new one.

Real-time flight tracking

To the right of your projects, you will see real-time flight details of travelers flying on the day you are working inside the product.

Searching Projects

You can search for specific projects in your Projects page by typing into the search field.

Sorting Projects

You can sort your projects by the most recently updated or by the name of the project by clicking this button to the right of the search.

New Projects

Once you click New Project, you can add your project name and search for the airport or city to indicate where your travelers are going.

Question:  What if there is more than one destination?

Answer: Tripgrid was designed for organizations who send groups of travelers to one destination, however, once you've created your project (and before you have searched and chosen your flights) you do have the option of changing both the origin and destination of each traveler simply by clicking in those fields and changing them.

Adding Travelers to your Project

Now you can start adding travelers. If you haven't created any traveler profiles, that's okay. Go to the article on 'Adding New Traveler Profiles' to learn about all of the features and attributes within our traveler profiles. If all of your travelers' profiles are already created, you can add them to your new project by clicking 'Add' to the right of each profile displayed. The traveler's initials to the left will be colored to indicate they've been chosen. Prior to adding to the project at the bottom of the screen, you can remove travelers from the project.

Once you've added the travelers you would like on the project, you can click on 'Add to Project', ' View Project and move on to the Project page.

You can continue adding travelers to this page by clicking on the Add Traveler button, top right, or you can begin searching flights.

Saving work done on your Project

Tripgrid allows you to make changes to all of your travelers' data sets in your project, and it automatically saves those changes as they are made. You can adjust whether the traveler is traveling one-way or round-trip, as well as their origin, destination, or departure date, for all of your travelers. These details will automatically save during your editing process. Once you have all your data, you can begin searching for flights.

To learn more about the search for one-way vs. round-trip, please see the article on flight search.

Removing Travelers from the Project

While searching for flights for your travelers in the project, you can delete a traveler and remove them from the project, as long as you have not already chosen a flight for that traveler. To delete a traveler, simply click the trash icon and click 'Yes, Remove Traveler' to delete them from the project.

Renaming a project

If you wish to rename your project, simply delete the name in the project (top left) and enter the new name. There is no need to save the name (it will save when you X out of the project or move on).

Note: Do not click the trash bin icon to delete the name; this will prompt the deletion of the project.

Deleting a Project

If you need to delete a project from your account, you can do so by simply clicking on the 'trash' can icon to the right of the project name in the project page. Once selected, a notification will appear, asking you to confirm the deletion.

Warning!! - once you have deleted a project we cannot recover the data.
