This article will detail how to search for flights inside of your project and all of this page's additional features.

Flight Search Options: One-Way and Round-Trip
Now that your travelers have been added, you can begin searching for flights for each traveler. Please review the traveler's Origin and Destination settings to make sure those are correct. If you need to adjust one or both of these fields, you can click into the field, erase the data, and type in the new airport (it's best if you type in the city and search for available airports).
Next, our project page allows you to choose whether your traveler travels one-way or round-trip. Begin making your selections and selecting the traveler's departure and return dates (remember that all of your selections will auto-save before you begin searching for flights).
Next, click 'Search Flights'.
A list of flight options will appear. These will initially be sorted by best price options.

Flight Search
On the next screen, you will see a list of flight options. Our platform displays 50 flight options (if available) automatically sorted by best price. You can filter the options displayed by clicking on the filter choices: Stops, Airline, Departure Time, Arrival Time, or Fare Class.
IMPORTANT: Tripgrid does not show 'Basic Economy Fare' options, which typically do not allow for changes or seat selection. If you wish to see these in Tripgrid in the future, you can email us at support@tripgrid.com.
Once you have chosen your flight, you can click on that flight to see available fare class options presented by that airline. The details of each fare will be listed within the options displayed.
Refundable and Non Refundable
While viewing the fare class option, if you wish to view the refundable option/price to that fare, check on the box next to 'Refundable' to view; you can uncheck to return to the non-refundable fare.
Limited seats on one or more legs
For some fare options, you may see a note in red that reads, "Limited seats on one or more legs; fare may not be available during booking." This means that at least one of the legs of your flight may not have seat availability by the time you complete the purchase, and that specific flight purchase 'may' fail. In this way, we let you know before purchasing so you can search for alternate options or continue with your selection.
Fare Details
Each flight option under a flight selection shows available fares within that flight. At the bottom of the fare box, you will see the Brand Name of the fare and all its details. You can hide the details by clicking 'Hide Additional Fare Details.'
Click 'Select Flight' and return to your project. Continue selecting flights for all of your travelers.
Adding multiple people to a flight
Tripgrid has added a feature that allows you to add up to 4 of your project travelers to a flight if they are traveling together on the same flight. This is a relatively new feature based on the number of available seats on the flight.
If you see an alert for limited seats, there is a high likelihood that one or more of your travelers may not get booked. At this time, there is no way to indicate preferences regarding who should get on the flight aside from the first traveler.
To add travelers to a flight:
Once you have chosen the travel parameters for your traveler (departure/return dates if applicable)...
Click on 'Search Flight' to see the flight options.
Choose your flight options and click 'Have more travelers for this flight? Add'.
You will see a modal appear with all travelers in your project.
Add up to 3 more travelers to the same flight and click Add Travelers.
NOTE: We do not allow more than four grouped travelers, as the likelihood of booking success decreases due to airline and GDS rules. If you have more travelers who need to be grouped, you can add up to 4 and return to your project to try another search for the remaining members of a group.
NOTE: This model will list all travelers on your project and note who is already on a flight. If you choose a person to be added who is already on a flight, they will be added to this new flight group.
This will return you to your project, where those travelers will have those flights selected.
Once you have completed your flight search, click 'Book All Selected Flights' to confirm details and select seats.
