Adding Credit Cards to Tripgrid
From within the Account Page you have the ability to add multiple forms of payment (Credit Cards) to be used later during the purchase process. The card data you submit is immediately encrypted upon submission. Tripgrid does not have access to any de-encrypted credit card data once submitted. Each of these cards can be given specific names and will how the last 4 digits of the card both on the Account Page and during the purchase process on the Purchase Page where the user will have the ability to select the card they wish to use during purchase.
How payment works through Tripgrid
Tripgrid does not process payment of your flight bookings. This is done through our partnership with Travel Leaders Group who acts as the merchant of record for the transaction. We do allow users to upload credit card information to their account to be used for different flight bookings, the actual transaction is completed downstream during the purchase process.
What will be reflected on my card statement?
Flight Transactions will show up listed under the Carrier/Airline with the amount as it would if you were to complete the transaction on the airlines' website.
As mentioned in other articles, Tripgrid charges a $15 platform fee per transactions. This will show up on your statement as a charge from "Travel Leaders KY" as again they are the merchant of record on the charge.
